Concert Review

On November 9, 2009, I went to Boston, Massachusetts to see a Miley Cyrus concert. Miley’s brother’s band, Metro Station, was the opening act. I thought that they stunk. The only song I liked that they did was a song I’d heard somewhere called “Shake It.”
When Miley came out, she opened with her song “Breakout.” She was in a huge block of ice, and she broke out of it and began to sing. There was fire shooting in the air and lots of noise. Miley sang “I Love Rock and Roll” while she was riding on a Harley Davidson suspended from the ceiling. She had tons of cool stunts including coming through the floor and swimming. She closed with the song “The Climb” from her movie Hannah Montana: the Movie. Miley also gave a preview of her new movie The Last Song before singing “When I Look at You.” All in all, I loved the concert, and it was a wonderful Wonderworld concert.

Miley Cyrus Concert Coming Up!

Golden Globes Arrivals Miley Cryus

On Monday, November 9th, I will be going to a Miley Cyrus concert in Boston, Massachusetts. She is touring with her brother’s band, Metro Station. She has just come out with a new CD, The Time of Our Lives, which I love. After I go to the concert, I will be reviewing it, so watch for it in the next issue of The Witches’ Brew!

P.S. Miss Brew forgot to put this up, so it's a little late:)

Hi! I’m Laura Strasswimmer, a seventh grader here at Greenwich! I will be writing book reviews of some of the many books that I read. The first book that I reviewed was Gilda Joyce: Physic Investigator by Jennifer Allison. I thought that it was a wonderful book. (If you get the chance to read it, please do!!) The next book that I’d like to review will probably be The Bar Code Tattoo by Suzanne Weyn. I loved that book, but read the paper to find out about it more! I encourage all to read The Witches’ Brew!

Adam Sandler - Comedian of the Week

Chuckandlarrymp

The comedian of the week is Adam Sandler. Today, you see him in movies, but it wasn't long ago when he did stand-up. He says he would like to do stand up again after his kids are grown up and are okay with him touring. His kids were probaly the reason he did "Bedtime stories." Or he was just trying to reach a different audience seeing all of his movies were Pg-13. It seems that he likes to put his religion in his movies. He is Jewish so in a lot of the movies he will wear the yamaka for events such as weddings. (See, I now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry) He has been around for a while now and fills our stress filled lives with laughter. Thank you Adam Sandler!
